Living a Dual Life in a Man’s World – with Marita Bolles

Join me on this show as I welcome artist, composer and coach, Marita Bolles. Marita has been able to use her artistic and philosophical expertise to develop a creative and successful coaching business. She utilizes ontology as the foundation for her coaching. Ontology is the study of being and can be described simply as self-awareness. Listen in as we have a fun and enlightening discussion where we address belief, attitude, mindset, self-expression, and creativity. You’ll enjoy this episode as in on this one since Marita has such a breadth of knowledge and makes a fascinating guest.

Being a great coach is not for the faint of spirit

Marita lives a double life as a coach and an artist and feels that being a coach is an honor. I absolutely love the way Marita describes coaching. She feels that a coach must fill their own spirit to be able to help others and that to help a person become whole you must be whole yourself. She explains the importance of this well, so make sure you listen in to fully understand what she means by this. Marita uses an analogy comparing coaching to a circuit with energy, and listening in will have you energized and ready to realize your full potential by the end of this discussion.

Dealing with misogyny as an artist

The other side of Marita’s double life is as an artist. In this discussion, she tells of her desire to have a bit of anonymity as an artist. This anonymity has led her to be able to express herself more freely and even a bit politically as an artist. Marita tells me how art has helped her deal with misogyny and how it has been a vehicle to express her frustration and even anger. We have a fascinating discussion about art, being a woman in a man’s world, and how to navigate that world. You’ll want to hear how Marita expresses herself as a feminist artist.

Performance equals potential minus interference

Marita understands how to help people live life to their fullest. In this interview, we discuss how hard it is working to be happy and perform fully. She helps others in her coaching practice by creating trust. She tries to help people surrender. This might seem like a complacent act, but it’s not. Surrender is active and powerful. Listen to this and more of Marita’s amazing insight as we delve into her world of coaching and feminist art on this episode of NextFem.

Life conspires with and for you

My guest Marita Bolles understands the goddess model, misogyny, and successful surrender. We go deep into this discussion and explore some fascinating subjects. You don’t want to miss this episode since Marita fills it with some excellent truths like how to stop fighting life and start learning how to conspire with it. She gives us the excellent advice to women, for instance, we don’t have to live like men to succeed in this world. At the end of this episode, you will understand that surrender is powerful.
